Warning: Do not take this seriously.

Films set in a high school have been around for ages, from the chillers of ‘Prom Night’ to the laugh-out-loud moments of ‘Superbad’, each film brings along their own flavor.

One of the most important steps when making a high school drama is having relatable characters. Thus, take those who were at one point in high school. Whether they graduated or not doesn’t matter, but if they agree to star in your film, then odds are they probably skipped a few classes.

Do not for whatever reason choose actors that are high school age. Those in their 30s and 40s and have a longing to experience the good old days will do.

Fill them in on new slang and terms that the fellow youth are following these days.
