Side Note: Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a good enough photo of the cover. However, just imagine the most generic cover art for a $10 shark movie at Walmart, and then picture the shark with glowing green eyes. You got it? Good, now onto the article.

Disclaimer: I am not here to bash anyone, but rather take a humorous look at the final project. What they have made is more than what I will ever make.

Let me preface this by saying I enjoy a “so bad it’s good” kind of film. I find it interesting to see what a filmmaker can do with a small budget and limited resources. So, imagine my surprise when I find a movie, let alone a shark movie, with the budget composed of the pocket change that everyone involved with the film had. Now, imagine my excitement when I found this film at a Walmart bearing a bright green banner at the top of the case saying it’s a “Walmart Exclusive.”

Walmart is a large company, so it makes me wonder who in that chain of command suddenly said, “We need Alien Shark”. It’s not like the retail giant has an actual ocean full of similar movies. Anyway, my expectations were set high. Who else knows quality like Walmart? So, with hands trembling in anticipation, I slid the disc in, and hit play.

Turns out I don’t have a lot to say.
