Examples of Listening and Demographics on Social Media

A company should always listen to its’ clients and customers. For without listening there is only pointless chatter. However, a company should also be listening to the right people.

Let us look at three examples of companies either listening to their audience or trying to find their audience. The first example is an exemplary way of listening to customers.

Papa John’s decision to make a stuffed crust pizza was not only a good way of listening, but also it is how they got the news across. They acknowledge all those who reached and talked about how the company should start making stuffed crust pizzas. A product their competitors have had for years.

This act also shows how Papa John’s is not only trying to make their own audience happy, but perhaps consumers that are loyal to other brands. How can this pizza place stand out from any other that are out there right now?

Including a company that sells frozen pizzas?

Companies that taunt each other is nothing new. Luckily, it is all in good fun. These two companies feel like they are targeting each other’s audience.
