Movies/Shows I (Probably) Shouldn’t Have Been Watching as a Kid.
Children watching movies or shows that they aren’t supposed to be watching on television have been around since the beginning. I mean, come on, I’m sure most people have a memory of staying up late to wait for their parents to fall asleep so that they can catch a midnight showing of an old slasher film.
I am no different.
For some goofs and gaffs, let me talk about a couple of films I remember watching as a kid that I probably shouldn’t have.
1. Syfy Channel
So, I’m cheating a bit here with this one, but let me explain. For me, it wouldn’t be a weekend as a kid without tuning into the Syfy Channel and watching at least one shitty monster movie. I didn’t care what it was as long as it had a giant, CGI creature going around terrorizing Eric Roberts.
Now, should I, as a 10-year-old, have been watching some of this? Probably not, but that didn’t stop me from waiting until my parents were gone to watch.
Sure, 95% of these movies were trash, but like, they had a charm to them. I mean, I’ve written plenty about these sort of films, so…
