My Thoughts on The Meg 2 Trailer and an Announcement.
Smile You Son Of A Trench!
The trailer for ‘The Meg 2: The Trench’ was released recently, and wow. For one thing, I had no idea that this movie was being made, let alone far enough along that a trailer was ready.
So, let’s take a moment to discuss it, and I’ll even throw in my irrelevant opinion.
As for the plot, it looks like there’s been activity lately in the Mariana Trench, so they bring in Jonas Taylor and his team to investigate. However, things start to sink when an even bigger Meg shows up.
Now Jonas has to get his harpoons and prepare to make them bleed. But what will he do when even more creatures start to surface?
The plot sounds perfect for a sequel to a movie about a giant, prehistoric shark. It took what was done before and does more. More sharks. More chaos. More teeth.
From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like we’ll be getting more than one Meg this time. An octopus and some lizard creatures seem to be joining the fray in this nautical knockout.
I’m going to assume that it’ll take less time to get to these creatures than its predecessor. That’s not to say that ‘The Meg’ was boring when the shark wasn’t on screen.
