Prodeus Overview, or Have You Seen My Prodeus?

Prodeus is action FPS developed by Bounding Box Software. After reaching a Kickstarter campaign goal, the game was released into early access in 2020.
It wasn’t until 2022 that the game saw a full release, and became available on every major platform.
I never played the early access, and I wasn’t even aware that this game existed until the full release came out. Which is a shame since I enjoyed my time with it.
Before we go any further, I want to state that any criticism that I have, good or bad, comes from the campaign. There is multiplayer, community levels, and a map maker, but I didn’t get around to trying them.
Now, let’s spend a couple of minutes talking about why I love Prodeus.
First off, the game looks great, especially the enemies. It perfectly blends sprite art with 3D models. Every enemy, every weapon, and every item has a unique sprite for every angle that you look at it.
There were points where I strafed around enemies just to see all the detail that went into their models. It really never got old looking at them.
However, the actual designs for the enemies were just okay. Well, I shouldn’t say that, they do look great, but at the same time…
