Back to the depths of our nightmares.
So, the time has finally come once more. I must dive back into the pits of mediocrity and pull out whatever festering mess has been waiting for me.
Last year, I took a look at the ‘Friday the 13th’ series and whatever shark films I could find in the bargain bin at Walmart (oh, and whatever was on Tubi). I thought I saw the worst with titles like ‘Sharkenstein’ and ‘Apex Predators’, but its been a year. In that year, I am sure there’s been more trash tossed into the ocean of entertainment.
But wait? What about the Slashers? Well, dear reader, I’ll show you.
Nightmares.
The headliner of this year is the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ series, a string of films started all the way back in 1984. Wes Craven is our weaver of nightmares as he the legendary Robert Englund brought the only man other than Indiana Jones who can sport a fedora, Freddy Krueger.
