Transformers 4K Box Set Rant.
Nerd rage, activate!
This is by far one of the pettiest things that I have ever written about. Amid the holiday season, I have begun to work on some articles that have been gnawing at the back of my mind. However, I wanted to get a little piece out in the meantime.
So, I wanted to briefly discuss this particular box set that I picked up about a year ago. It was on sale and I had the odd feeling of wanting to watch the live-action ‘Transformers’ films. I had never seen them, and not being a huge ‘Transformers’ fan, I didn’t have the desire to watch them for the longest time. It also didn’t help that I had heard most of these flicks were…less than savory.
Note: This will not be a review or discussion of the films themselves. I’ve seen the first two and I’m scared to press on.
I have two issues with this set.
1. The Order of the Films.
When buying a box set, you’d expect the films to be in order. It’s easy to keep track of and it’s satisfying to see. Obviously, with this being a box set that has one big case to store all the discs, it isn’t as satisfying as having them in their own separate cases.
I prefer having separate cases for each title, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me either.
