Throughout our lives, each of us has looked up to someone or gained inspiration from others. This can be from actual people, or perhaps from fictional characters.

In this article, I want to talk about how Godzilla, the character and the franchise, has inspired me over the years.

Watching a Godzilla film takes me back to when I was playing with action figures and envisioning the ridiculous battles they fought within my mind. They’re over the top and blown out of proportion, but amidst the destruction, there’s a sense of whimsy.
